Facilitation
Together you can build something far greater...
My primary role is that of a facilitator collaborating with you in service of your goals. Use facilitation for the short term needs of your group: to help you make a joint decision, create an operational plan, or launch a new project.
Facilitation also has long-term value, because while surmounting the current obstacle, together, you can learn skills to help you the next time. For example, during the facilitation process, I often help groups improve their: communication and conflict resolution skills, strategic problem-solving, and meeting participation and effectiveness.
Members of an organization may have a common vision, yet different ideas about how to get there. I facilitate your group to synthesize creative solutions and catalyze the drive to move forward with a concrete plan, measurable steps, and clearly laid out responsibilities.
Facilitation can take many forms. A process facilitator is useful when a group wants to:
- Create a strategic plan.
- Develop communication and consensus on a multi-stakeholder project or public process.
- Tackle a difficult problem with people from diverse areas who don't usually work together.
- Improve meetings (group communication skills, staying on track).
